Our certificates are official copies. You can use these for all legal purposes, like applying for a passport.

What you will need
To order a certificate you'll need:
- the full name of the person on the certificate
- date of birth and place the event took place, for example where they were born
For some common surnames you might also need the name of the parents, or the mother's maiden name.
Some events registered in the last 2 years may not be available to view or order yet. If you need a copy of a certificate that isn't published yet, contact us.
Prices and postage
A certificate costs £12. Additional copies of the same certificate will cost £10 each.
Our standard processing time is 15 working days to dispatch your order.
Postage options are available at checkout, including priority processing for same-day or next-day dispatch. If you order priority processing, we'll dispatch your order the same working day, if you order before 13:00.
